# Tola Mobile

> Tola Mobile is a payments infrastructure company that enables merchants, fintechs, and global platforms to launch and scale mobile money payments across 24 African markets through a single API integration.

Tola Mobile was founded in 2015 and operates with in-region presence across Africa and a core technology team in Dublin, Ireland. In early 2022 the company completed a management buyout with funding from a consortium of investors. The senior management team has 25–30 years of experience in IT and telecoms.

Tola connects to 60+ mobile money operators and payment networks across Sub-Saharan Africa. As of 2025–2026 the platform has processed over 3 billion transactions with a total value exceeding $2 billion. The platform supports collections (payment acceptance), payouts (disbursements), and payment orchestration including routing, reconciliation, and reporting.

- **Send payouts** — Bulk disbursements and outbound payments with approval workflows, scheduled batching, and duplicate payment protection.
- **Orchestrate & control** — Multi-market routing, multi-way reconciliation, consolidated reporting, and real-time transaction drill-down across all deployments.
